Help finding a thread

yeah my search option doesnt work as im sure it doesn;t for most of you.
anyway for whatever reason i started to read about headers today on many different websites. and well it seemed that i keep reading over and over that headers now apparently do have an effect at lest with the y-pipe on our car. I've been raised to know that headers dont do crap for our car and with the y-pipe it might give u like 5 extra hp....now to the point of all this I DONT want to start a headers thread here since im sure there have been many that i missed

So could anyone give me a link to a recent Headers post that happened in the org. (pref. one that is not jus people bashing the person that wanted to bye the mod)

a ypipe will give you about 15-18 HP at about $200 + about $40-60 install. headders will give you i think about 20-22 hp, and you have to use the ypipe that comes with them. cattman headders cost $800, plus install which is very expensive and a big job. most people (including myself) dont think its worth the extra 4-6 hp over the ypipe, especially at the price. but i guess if your determined to get the most power out of an n/a motor, i guess its a must, that is, if your that hardcore about it.

yeah i decided to skip the headers when i got my y-pipe(but that was awhile ago) since i also didn;t think the extra 200$ or whatever was worth the hp. so i was wondering if there was any new type of header out that did anything besides 5 hp.

Guess not

there are some other headers out that are cheaper than the catman ones. i think its obx or stone racing or something, but the down side is that i think you gotta cut away some of your motor mounts making them weaker.
