installing SS clutch line, need help QUICK

ok, so i got the hose off the slave cylinder itself, though it was a tight fit, i got it done no problems, but the real problem arose when i tried to get the old line unbolted from the hardline, where it attaches to the bracket thing. i found i little... tensioner plate? and pulled it out, so now the bolt moves freely in the bracket, but i cant seem to get the bolt undone. i must use an open ended wrench, but the bolt is just being destroyed instead of coming loose. visegrips wont work either, but ive sprayed more than enough WD40 on that thing. my question is, is there any trick to this that im overlooking, or is it just flat out impossible to remove intact?

and by the way, yes, i checked the stickyies, but they dont cover this particular install.

The same thing happened to me. The bolt took forever to get loose. I excessively used alot of WD40 and stripped it. The bolt is a 10mm bolt. The way I solved it was to buy a 10mm flare wrench and dry off all the WD40.
