Oil overfill question, please help
Mods - I know this probably should be in the lube forum, but this forum definately gets more reads, and I need a quick answer. Sorry if this causes trouble.
Anyway, I just changed my oil today, and followed the instructions on motorvate.ca to do so. I added no more than .25 Liters more than the normal 4 L fill. I'm wondering if this is going to be harmful to my engine. I was just on the bobistheoilguy website/forums, and what I got from searching a little bit was that it would take a lot more oil in my engine than what I overfilled to do anything serious. Keep in mind, I should be keeping this oil for over 5000 miles. I was just wondering what the org's thoughts were on this matter. Thanks for the help.

Yes this should be in fluids section. Why? Because I remember the exact same question asked before in there.
But to answer your question, it should be fine. If you are THAT worried about it. Drain that much out.
