Does My Slave Cylinder need to be replaced or something else? *pics*

I was checking my Oil today and i noticed there was some brake fuild on my transimission so i took some pictures. I am guessing it is the Slave cylinder and that fluid just ran down the line and pooled on the transmission housing. Does this look like its my slave cylinder leaking.

I checked the fluid level and it is over the MAX line so its not very bad but my question is this normal. Also it is difficult to get into gear sometime but for the most part it is not too bad

Looks like it's just the hose. This can prevent your clutch disk from fully disengaging, causing hard shifts.

When the slave cylinder goes, you will see fluid coming out where the pushrod is (part w/the boot).

I do have hard shifts sometimes but i thought it was due to weather. thanks for the info. I think i am going to purchase a new slave cylinder and replace it at the same time.
Could i use this line as a replacement.

Yes. The steel braided line will improve the feel of the clutch.

You dont have to replacet he slave cylinder if you are going to bleed the system. If you want to renew your slave cylinder, I suggest you buy a rebuild kit, (it comes with the internal cylinder and rubber boot.) It only costs about $5 on rockauto.com.

^^ So you bought a rubber line for $40 instead of a stainless steel line for $25?
