for 95/96 get 50 watt 1156.
for 97-99 use 921, not sure if there is an upgrade.

i think what ant was saying that american cars are notorious for incredibly bright tails, unlike those of nissans.

also, i think 95-96 bulbs are 1157, not 56. im not positive though.

Quite a few GM's, GMC Envoys, Pontian Grand Ams... have BIG reverse lights that are almost like tail lights and their purpose is to light up the rear of the car. Ours were never made for that.

Doesn't matter. If they want brighter reverse lights, they want brighter reverse lights.

For all of you who wanted to know more about how I made the LED reverse lights here are some pictures of the making: It should be pretty self explanatory except for the wiring, resistors, diodes, and crap but I don't really want to get into that (it gets complicated). http://www.bassmintaudio.com/maxima/...ght%20project/

I get asked every time I post these if I can make a set. I have considered it, but, it is very labor intensive and currently I'm going to school, so, I don't have the time. If I do make them I will post a thread about it this summer.

The price is not set yet because I’m still in search of a better LED supplier: I’m trying to find a company that can sell me DOT approved LEDs, the ones in traffic lights and pedestrian crossing signs. I think a pretty accurate estimate is about $700 not including taillight housings (its may seem like alot of money but it is alot of labor the parts are not cheap). You could either ship me your tail lights and be without them for a couple weeks or provided that your taillights are in MINT condition we could work out an exchange to save time.
