for the past couple of days my car doesnt want to warm up as quick as it usually does.. i usually start the car and let it run for a min and then drive and it would take less then 5 min of driving for the needle to be halfway now i drive all the way to work, which is like a 10 mi highway drive, and the needle still will not have reached halfway.. im thinkin it could be the thermostat but i dont know for sure and was wonderin what you guys thought it could be.. if it is the thermostat, i can change that in minutes since i did it before on my previous 4th gen.. i need to find out whats wrong cuz i dont wanna ride around like this much longer seeing that the car is running rich for prolonged periods of time.. any insight is appreciated..

yup i agree, might be stuck in the open possition

 

my car would never heat up, and when it did, when i hopped on the freeway, instant cold . was very frustrating. finally got around to changing the thermostat. works like a champ now =]
