HAI installed - holy awesome

well, while the air box looks somewhat crude from the side (oh well cant see it anyway bc of the battery) the K&N has been installed and its sounds awesome! question tho - should the check engine light come on after you unplug the MAF sensor (and plug it in again) - bc it didnt and i didnt know if it was supposed to or not. anyway - not bad for $45.

no. yes that is an awesome mod and i did actually what you did. sound is amzing. i also removed my resonator and did the OSCAI. after having it for about 6 months, i decided to get my CAI and i took the k&n filter out and man it was dirty, never cleaned it though cause i'm too lazy. yeh some say stock is better than CAI but i really don't feel the loss of low end power. plus the CAI off of ebay is cheap, sounds even louder than the hacked, esp at high ends, and you can actually hear the filter breathing.
