i'm trying to put blue bulbs in my clearance lights and front side markers. the front side markers popped right off, but i can't get the clearance light off. it says there is one screw on top, i took that off, and then it says to take a flathead screwdiver and pop the light off. only it won't go, and i don't want to break it. someone help me while its still nice out.
thanks

You can wrap some towels around a screwdriver, and pry the rear section (towards the wheel) of the clearance light. It should come loose. Just don't use too much force, or the light will chip/break. When I removed mine, I also sprayed WD-40 at the joints to make removal easier.

Pain in the _$$
The first time you pop them off it's real hard to do. You think you are going to break something. Just put your screwdriver as close to the bottom of the light as possible, (closest to the bumper) and pry. Sorry no easy solution.

I agree with the previous posts, using the screwdriver at the bottom of the light is the way to go. Make sure you use a cloth or something. WD-40 will help out alot for you too. If you look in between the headlight and the clearance light you should be able to see the little **** that inserts into the car. Get the WD-40 on that bad boy and pry. I found it was a pain the first time, mostly because I didn't know exactly how the light attached and detached from the car. Now that I know, it's a little easier to get off.
