ok dont mean to jack your thread but while were on the subject of g35 wheels. Does anyone have or have pics of the 18" 7 spoke G35 wheels on a 4th gen? I have looked and looked and can't find anything. I would love to get my hands on a set of those and paint them gunmetal.

Do the coupe wheels stick out alittle? The rears are suppose to be slightly wider than the fronts on the G35 aren't they?

mine arnt the ones that angle in alot.. the sedan type i guess.. i guess the nissan and infinity caps are a perfect fit on those. guy i bought the wheels from said the caps came off the new altima. i actually like these ones better, the angle that the coupe ones go in makes them look kinda funny. dont get me wrong though, they still look dope. jsut the sedan ones seem to compliment the maxima styling better by not angeling in so much.

Resurrected!
Hi guys, do you think the 235/50/17 wheels will rub on a lowered 1997 Maxima w/Maxspeed?

Sober has a picture of this

The tires that were in that picture were the 235/50/17's... How much of a drop is maxspeed? If its not lower than 2" I wouldnt worry much about it unless you have back passengers...

NOW, with my 235/45/17's I dont rub anymore.

I have 235/50/17's with a H&R/Illumina setup, I rub occasionally with rear passengers on certain situations where both reat tires are hitting a dip at the same time (like going over a cross road, etc). Not too bad. I am going to get 235/45/17s when I re-shoe...

Sober and Dooley:

Thanks for your replies. Seems to me that the safest bet would be 235/45s. I do occasionally carry passengers and stuff in the trunk so I don't want them to rub.

Quick question, my wheels are staggered (8" width on rear, 7.5" on front). With the 235/45s fit on the 7.5" OK? Anyone tried this?

Thanks!
