ok i put some blue lights in my front side markers today and i'm planning to finish putting them in the front clearance lights tomorrow. the problem is i just tried them out at night and think they look too cheap next to the oem head lights. they are too blue i think. are there some better lights for these two areas, maybe a little less blue? or will i get used too it. let me know.

Copss

I have the same blue lights as you (I think) but after a while the heat of the lamp burns some of the blue off so it has more of a tint than a shade of blue. But... Friday night driving down Broadway in Colorado, I got pulled over by a seemingly bored cop, who wrote me a $17 ticket for illegally displaying blue lights to the front of my vehicle. Lame.

In some states it's impersonation of a police officer if you have blue lights in the front of your car. Try the PIAA superplasma wedges (I think it will be a little more blue than the super whites) if your max's fit 168 or 194 wedge bulbs.

Blues

I've got blue side markers and clearance lights. I only drive around here (Auburn University, AL) with them on because they don't care. But if I go anywhere else, I have to take them off. I've already gotten pulled over once for impersonating an emergency vehicle. The superwhites won't look very good on the side markers, but if you do the rewire on the clearance lights, they'll look great! I'm about to change mine back since I'll be moviing soon.
