I am curious as to if there is a backup for the write up to this as well. The site that is supposed to host it seems to be in the process of updating things. May just want to get a Haynes/Chilton manual. Would be a good idea to change the oil while you are at it. That's what I plan to. I am too relient on nice little write ups.

Ok, go to the fluids/lubricants section. There is a write up there. I have been here a while and have never gone to that forum. Looks good to me.

Fluids section should be good, but in short there is a large screw/bolt (size of a quarter) that you put a 1/2 ratchet or breaker bar into, and undo the screw. Putting your finger inside the fluid should be just up to level with the hole, so that anymore and it would start to pour out.

To get at that will likely need to jack the car up, then unscrew it, then either feel with your finger at that point, or gently lower it again (so that it's perfectly flat), and feel with the finger

It's a good idea to check; running out of tranny fluid cost me a transmission in an old accord.
