Odd sqeaking noise from 97 Max after gear shifting.

Odd sqeaking noise from 97 Max after gear shifting.
Hi All
We have two 97 Maximas in our family, one SE, one GLE. They both have 81,xxx miles on them and seem to develop the same ailments at about the same time.
Lately I've noticed on both of them that when shifting out of P to R or D, sometimes you will hear a noise that kind of sounds like "squak- squak".. Sometimes you will also hear it right after coming to a stop in D (like a stopsign), or sometimes after putting it in P before turning the motor off.
65k saw complete flush with Dex-III and nothing odd noticed about shifting patterns or the like.
What puzzles me the most is that they seem to have developed it pretty close to the same time. It does it after the trans is warmed up and the fluid level is fine.
It isn't very loud, but noticeable if the window is down or someone is near the car when it happens. The two cars have different drivers, so it isn't necessarily how the car is being driven.
Any thoughts?
