Trottle Cable

Has anyone tighten them up before.Did it make a differents in the sound of your car? If so was it something i can within a hour? My car idles right under 1000rpm and it sound ruff while driving alone the highway. @ When i have to really press on my pedel to get some excelaration.

Easy to do; I did mine in about two minutes. If it's really loose, your car will be more responsive. Although, it sounds like you need to clean your IACV with an idle that high. Read the stickies for how-to and whatnot.

i said that they are loose and the idle gauge is under 1000rpm. I want my idle to be right at 1000 and the cables are loose, not snug

Your car should idle around 700 rpm. I suggest what he mentioned....take a look at your IACV, clean, and adjust. You shouldn't use the throttle cable to control the idle.
