cold air intake info
A lot of ppl put it in the fender cause thats direct air flow coming from there. But im sure ppl know more about placement of intakes then me, but personally I would pout it in the fender unless someone told me why radiator would be better.
haha, that is hilarious!! exactly where on the fender???? Im tryin to figure out where to drill the hole without tryin to move the battery!!!! SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE. I WANNA GET THAT HOLE CUT OUT THIS WEEKEND!!!
I don't have a pic with it in from the side of the car, but to answer your questions a few posts up, yes, I'd say you need to remove the battery tray (even though the hole isn't actually under the tray), again like 4 bolts or so... Not too tough to put back.
Plus, if you look at the template I posted, It says on a couple circles "locate this hole over the mount for the battery tray." You'd have a tough time drilling the hole with the battery tray in using that template.
Just take apart your stock intake and go from there, you'll get it as you go. Also, use this if you haven't found it yet: https://maxima.org/modules.php?name=CAI
