Can you put a manual seat onto a power seat?

I have a 96 power passenger seat that I want to change to a 98 seat. There is a 98 manual passenger seat at a yard close by. I have not been able to find a power passenger seat in a 98 style.

 

i'd suppose you could... would have to disconnect seat from brackets... couldn't be that hard i suppose

 

Thats what I'm thinking. I have found out the hard way that I should ask these things before I act on them.
