I recently bought a pair of HID's and Im having trouble putting them in. When I put them all the way in they touch the chrome piece inside the headlight and they wont come on. But if I pull them out a little they turn on. If anyone could please help me if they have installed HID's before.

 

If you know how to take the headlight apart you could take the chrome piece out.

 

well if you try putting HIDs in your fogs you'll run into the same problem, at least w/ 99s

however, a good way is to adapt the headlights so the base of the bulb sits further from the headlight, this will keep you from having to tear out the shields
