Steering column gauge pod **Gauging interest!!**
Any interest in for the 4th gen?

To start tooling, ATI requires an order of 200 unit. The tooling will belong to ATI but the product will be exclusive for whoever placed the 200 orders. MSRP on these will be atleast $124.99.
Here's my thought. If there are enough interest, I can approach venders like Customenterprise, Cattman, Redlinemax, Paradox and Stillen. Maybe even Autometer.... If a couple of them are willing to carry this product and put in the order. This will become a reality.
Let me hear some feedback??

Hi Tony,
Looks good but I doubt if you can get 200 people on this board to really COMMIT to $125. No doubt there will be plenty of people "interested" or "want it" but when you ask for $... they disappear into the woodworks.

:o)
I like it a lot. I have not purchased gauges because I don't want to cut holes anywhere and I don't want them exposed on my pillar. I would consider these (if they don't block the view of the stock gauges or affect the tilt steering.

You mean like this. It's another possibility.

The second one is made by Gaugeworks. The guys is actually local to me but I lost his contact info. Let me see if I can get my Autometer guy to give me his info. Our instrustment cluster is not as deep as the Honda cars. So with gauges, it might stick out a bit from the dash board. Anyway, I'll look into gauge works.

Actually, I'm in the process of trying to come up with a din sized pod that will sit on top of the dash right above the center airvents that will flow and match the contuor of the Dash, and will be slightly angled to face the driver. We'll see how it goes. I had started once before but in moving the core i had built was busted up and ruined.....

I definitely like that one better. Even w/ the 4 gauges on my pillar, I've got 2 more gauges sitting here I'd like to put in. You can never monitor too much
But, what I would worry about for this is blocking the stock gauges. On that Civic, with the design of the cluster, nothing is blocked. But on my wife's Integra, I have one of those in there and here temp gauge and fuel gauge are partially obscured. On the Maxima, I'd worry that the fuel gauge and temp gauge would be blocked also as well as the warning lights.
But if you get it done, I'm in. Saves me that hassle of having to fabricate one from fiberglass. I was going to buy a spare gauge surround for the max, get one of the gauge holders from a Honda and then cut and mold.
