Just thinking out loud...any way you can get in there with a drill and a hole saw? Don't know how much access you have, I don't have a CAI.

You can buy a 3.25" or 3.5" hole saw for your drill to make the hole, thats what I did.

The fitment was fine, I bought an Ebay intake and used the Place Racing template.

I used a hole saw too. Just use one that is 1/4 in bigger than the piping and it should be fine. Don't get it too big because you don't want that thing moving too much in there. Mines fit great in there. It's been there for about two years now without any problems.

I'm pretty sure I used 3.25. It was a while ago. If you have the template just go by that. I didn't have a template when I did mine but, the install is not hard at all.

use the drill with a hole saw size equal (best) or slightly larger 1/8 - 1/4 your pipe size. i have 3" pipe and used a 3 1/8 hole saw on a drill (metal bit) went through like butter
