Alternator sensor

Alternator sensor
My alternator is not putting out power. I checked the fuse and its good! But when I pull the fuse out the alternator produces power. if I put it back in it stops producing power. So my guess is that the alternator sensor is bad. Where is it? Or how do I replace it?
