Air Fuel Controller's

Does anyone have experience with AFC's? If so what models are easy to use with the Max? I've seen the Apexi S-AFC II and I think III on some cars. The ones with the blue readout, but those were a little pricier than I wanted to go. Thanks.

1. Not gonna do much for you as far as performance unless you need one...in other works you need to have some type of mod like a turbo, SC, cams, or such that would cause you AF ratio to be off or not where you want it.

I will say that they are nice to have since they have an accurate tach on them, MAF voltage and TPS. But again, you really don't need that stuff unless your boosted or running a crazy NA set up

The Apexi SAFC you are refering to comes in a I and II series. No point in getting the first one. They can be picked new for $260 all day long on ebay.

There are other ways to control fuel, but if the SAFC seems pricey then there is no point in discussing the others.

Thanks for the reply, I've caught the mod bug again and since I just bought a Q45t for my long trip car I've decided to sink some money into the max since she's paid off. I might go boost later this year, not sure though. I saw some s-afc's on Ebay so I figure I would ask the org what was up with them. Definitely doing nitrous EFI kit in late summer. My A/F ratio gauge is showing one mark past ideal when I'm WOT. I know thats not bad but I was wondering what our options were for fine tuning that. I know alot of domestics have a MAF Translator that helps with this that is only like $160.
