Wow, I never though of that... Death by burger... and were not talking about high fat high calorie burgers... How does that air bag come out? Does that horn cover fold down, or up?

Well, it's supposed to split horizontally across the middle (where the line is), but the first motion is straight out before the material splits, so.... INCOMING!

I have one of the brushed alum kits in my 95 se and it looks pretty nice. The fitment of the kit is good, and the kit is holding up so far.

I see a bulge coming out from that horizontal line on my airbag... I hope all is well? I dont need a pre-mature deployment... Ive heard of stealerships and auctions that sell cars with papper and junk in the air bags place, beacuae of the airbag being stolen or sold...

I have mine painted silver and so far I'm fairly happy with it. I don't have any pictures right now, I'll try to get some either tonight or tomorrow. I found a way to do the manual AC controls, I think that makes a huge difference vs. leaving it black and painting the rest. As I said, I'll try to get some pics soon.

Sorry if I really got your hopes up, I just masked off the center and painted the sides. It's not hard, I just thinks it looks a lot better than leaving it black. With the auto AC controls I think I read somewhere that you can take the plastic piece off, but I don't know if that would make things any easier. Regardless, I wouldn't try to paint them in the car, just way too big of a risk of overspray even if you're careful with masking.

Anyway, here are the pics. They aren't that great because it was dark and the camera sucks, but you can get the idea. I think it looks pretty good for how little it cost.

that still looks WAY better than just leaving it black, do you think the same thing can be done with the automatic a/c controls?
