ECU resetting

How do I go about resetting the ECU? Does this affect the car in any negative way?

I couldnt seem to find it. Would resetting the ECU be the same as the process to reset the "service engine soon" light?

the ecu will not change the way your car acts. i have reset mine all the time. some people say that the ecu "learns" to the car. and by reseting the ecu, it needs to "re-learn"i think this is a bunch of horse ****.

I installed a CAI and the car didnt seem to want it, it would stall. I reinstalled the stock intake but to no avail. After resetting the check engine light with that screw near the gas pedal the car seemed to be running good again. So I figured if I replace the stock with the CAI again and do the reset it should work. Right?

you can try that, is your CEL light coming on? if so pull the codes, i think i read a thread somewhere where a guy installed a CAI, and the engine ran kind of funny but it went away. so try and put the CAI back on, and leave it, reset the ecu after you install it, and try that.
