I've seen these LED bulb replacements for the stock filament bulbs listed on a couple of websites, and I'm really curious about them. Are they just as bright or brighter? Do they radiate light in a similar radius or in a narrow arc?
I've spotted a few Accords with clear tails, and the red looks very "washed out". The bulbs behaved like they were LED's (no noticeable fade-in or fade-out going on/off), but I'm not sure if they were.

I have a friend who has actually made his own taillights for his car and they look nice. I asked him how hard it would be to make me some LED brake lights. Not hard at all. Just would have to give him my brake lights so he could make a plaster paris mold of them so I could later get some clear plastic (thermal) and shape them to the mold. He then said all he would need is a power supply and some other stuff (I,m not an electrician) and it would work. That would be cool but as of right now, I still need my brake lights on the car instead of off. If I ever do this I,ll have to let everyone know what it looks like and if I get a digital camera or scanner, post it. Sorry I did not answer your question but thought you would like to know.Originally posted by Gary95
