Changing Clutch

I am going to be changing out my clutch on my 95SE this weekend. I was wondering if there is anything special that I need to know or any info that would help me do it. Also do I need any other parts besides the clutch kit? Thanks.

I have a 95 SE, 5-speed as well. How many miles on the clutch? Any problem with the differential bearing yet? I only have 57,350 miles on my car, mostly highway, and don't drive it like I stole it so I suspect I will be some time down the road with either of these problems.

Get a manual - but you can also see some of the tips I posted when I did the transmission in my 95 SE this weekend. I went with a '01 transmission and all factory Nissan parts.. from the new flywheel to the clutch and pressure plate.

I have 140k on the car. I bought it with 120k and the clutch was starting to slip. I don't know if there was a differential bearing problem prior to me owning it, but I have not had a problem. They always say it was around 60k when people had problems with them.

Replace the rear main seal while you're in there.

So when taking the tranny off you don't have to remove the y-pipe or the engine center member?
