Ignition question. Need help quick.

I just bought the electical part of the ignition just the wire and was wondering how hard it is to install? Has anyone done it before? Thanks.. It doesn't seem too hard at all. The dealer wants $170.00 to install.

If you're talking about the ignition "switch", it's pretty easy.

All you have to do is pop off the plastic pieces of the steering column to expose the ignition switch. The switch is bolted on by 2 more screws (i think). All you have to do from there is disconnect the switch and plug in the new one. Then put everything back together the way you took it apart. There is a step by step in one the repair manuals (chilton etc.) if you need more help. Good luck, I hope that helped. Whatever you do, do not pay the dealership to install, it's too easy.
