Can anyone Pm me or post the directions for removing the auto antenna nut when replacing the mast, is there some special tool i need? any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Well bump, i got a new antenna too and cant get the old one out! i got the top screw off, but does it just pull out? If so it must be stuck cuz im lifting my car by the antenna and it still wont move, ill try again when its warm

 

there is a special tool to turn the nut but u can use a good pair of snap ring pliars

 

Warm it up with a hair dryer if its cold and then try removeing the nut with a pair of pliers. Put some masking tape or something around it to protect the paint in case you slip.
