throw-out bearing

How long will it hold out before it breaks. The cheapest price quote i've gotten is 650.00 to fix and they would also change the pressure plate and all the internals of the clutch. It's been a week already and i don't feel any sign of it getting worse yet. It'sjust embarassing when i push the clutch pedal that loud *** wining noise it makes!

$650 is way too high for a clutch job.

Purchase the parts on your own, and take to a shop to be repaired, a total of about $400 sounds right.
