yea good point man - ill try to get a sound clip up by early next week. the guy at warpspeed said it should sound pretty much stock - but thats the only comparison i have. like a said the rasp is now coming from what i think is the connection at the headers and is only really noticeable at upper RPM's in first and second. is this just normal for any y-pipe and will it possibly change as i "break it in"?

well, versus kind of a deep smooth noise. kinda similar to that hated fart can civic noise but coming from the front of the car. it sounds like a bunch of pins being rattled around - ah its just annoying. i guess the best way is the sound clip and ill get that up asap. i just sounds ricey.

It's as simple as this, there is an obvious exhaust leak. i know what they sound like, had issues before with my muuffler. the ball joint is just allowing air to escape, and making it sound that way... the harmonics would lead you to believe it's coming from up front, but i'm fully convinced it's coming from the ball joint.
