Rough Idling

I try to find the "Search" feature but I'm not entitled to that feature so please help everyone.

My 95 GXE idles very rough, it seems like the engine is going to turn off. Also, when I press on the Gas pedal, the car doesn't seem to kick in right away, the engine shaking a lot until it hits about 3000~4000 RMP then it seems OK. When I drive, the car doesn't seem to run as smooth as it's supposed to.

Last tune up about 15K ago (the car has 82K original on it), changed air filter, sparkplugs (all Nissan parts)

What are the problems? please help.

Thanks,

Clean your throttle body and IACV. Check your ECU for codes.

yes sir. If you want a factory part you can go to courtesy nissan who will give you a 10% discount for the part. Or you can go to who I like. www.pinnaclenissan.com.

If you dont mind getting an aftermarket part. www.rockauto.com is good.

These two might not be the cheapest but they have taken care of a lot of people with little problems if any.

Also Mr. Iho. I wonder if you could tell me if your check engine or service engine soon light was on.

I always wondered if it would light up due to a fuel delivery problem.

Thanks
