I was leaving the Berlin Turnpike last night with a couple of my friends, and we get on the highway. My friend is driving his 93? Prelude, its the generation before the current one. He has the the 160 Hp engine with intake exhaust and his engine is ported and polished. So on the highway we line up and we are both at 60 MPH. I was in 3rd gear, when we both floored it. We stayed almost perfectly even for a while, then he pulled about 2 feet maybe 3, then he shifted and I pulled even and was still pulling even after a quick shift into 4th, maybe 1 foot is so on him, then we had to shut it down due to traffic. I was pretty happy with how the Max performed considering that it is still stock as far as performance goes, still overall it feels slow to me. Maybe because I dont have a loud muffler, which makes it feel or sound faster. Anyways I have my suspension done, my rims on, and this month Im going to get a big brake kit, then the car will be ready for some power modifications

I wasnt going to get the big break kit, but my fronts are in pretty bad shape, and I think the Wilwood Kit is a reasonable price if there even available.

Yeah i would get the big break kit first. I too will be getting mine from stillen in about 1.5 months. Its worht it the big break kit. I haven't seen the Wilwood Big Break kit on a max before, if you get it post and tell us how it drives and the price. Also are you getting just the front set or front and back, i am getting the front and back so do the research to see which kit will work oput cheaper.

I know the Wilwood goes for $800-$1000 for the front kit, I wasnt aware that anyone made anything for the rear other than pads and rotors?

are these kits entire sets? (pads, rotors, lines etc) and are the rotors crossdrilled or slotted?
