Wanna get back into it...

I've gone too long without a Maxima... It's been 2 years since I've even been here! I bought a dsm a couple years ago but am thinking of getting back into Maximas. I looked through the classifieds for a while but its pretty hard to guage how much cars go for b/c they're modded and people often PM each other price details. Anyways, my question is, what sort of Maxima could I put myself in for around $5000-5500. I'm looking for fairly low miles as much as I am a newer car, so please don't say "a 2000 w/170k miles."

Thanks in advance for helping me get into a better vehicle!

Oh yea, just noticed I am a 3rd year newbie.. beautiful haha.

for 5 grand...i say you're looking at something like a 97. Just go to autotrader.com and search for yourself. prices range and they depend on how the car has been maintained. So yeah go check and enter your price range and you'll get somewhat of an idea.

dsm = diamond star motors aka eclipse, talon, or laser..

I have a Talon TSi awd right now and although it's served me well I need a sedan more than a coupe at this point in my life.
