What is Wrong W/my Car?

Hi,
I've been hearing a loud clicking sound when I go over bumps and turns and my mechanic said that I needed new front tires. So I bought a set for the front and it eliminated the sound. A week later.. I heard the same sound, but now as loud and not as much.. As a matter of fact, I only hear it if I am going over a bump(sometimes).
He checked the ball joints and nothing was loose. He also checked the CJ joint, but nothing was torn.
What can this sound be? I definetely know that something is loose under my car..

Check the front strut mounts or it could be your control arm bushings

Some other people will add more things to check

I agree with Jatan, strut mounts. Had mine replaced and the noise went away.

Is that visually noticeable? Is there a chance that the mechanic forgot to look at it?
I am asking because when the local shop returned the car, he said that the car is flawless.

you really can't see em unless you take off the struts. They wear out

Check the exhaust mounts/hangars or whatever the hell else holds the exhaust in place. After a while alot of these parts rust or come loose. Go to any exhaust shop and they will weld it back together. Shouldn't cost ya more than 30 bucks if they don't have to replace anything.
