I am simply looking for the cheapest urethane motor mounts (front and back) for the max.

Then filling yours is the way to go. But you either have to get a set of used set or not drive your car for a week because they have to harden for a long time.

I know this is an old thread, but I would like to know if i get the rubber of my mounts pressed out, and fill with urathane. will the urathane stick to the walls of the mount?

I filled mine with some urithane last summer... Stupidest thing I ever did. Now the car is jerky as hell. I want my old soft mounts back.

but what exacly did you do? did u have the old rubber part pressed out? how did u fill it maybe u did it wrong or used the wrong product

I know it will stick if you just pour it in there with the old mounts still in place.

I took off the whole crossmember with the mounts still attached and poured that stuff inside the original mounts and let it sit for 48 hours and then put it back on.

so u never took out the mount completly? no wonder it didnt go right. and 48hr is not enough according to everyone that has done this. need 3 days or more
