Best Tranny fluid?

I was wondering if there was a "best" tranny fluid for the 4th Gen 5spd's?

Its that time and Im just wondering.

Either Amsoil or Redline. If you want Amsoil there is a GD going on for 25% off. Just make sure it's API GL-4 NOT GL-5.

Redline MT-90 is crap.
Do some research on it.
Amsoil is the way to go.

MT-90 is just a standard fluid with some additives, etc...
Amsoil lubricates MUCH better

Switched to Amsoil at 60K miles...and the now at 188K, the tranny is still strong.

I cant search so if anyone can find write ups or reviews of either the Redline MT-90 or the Amsoil it would be greatly appreciated.

i used mt-90 and i cnnot say much has felt differant.

I've always used Redline MT90, but will probably try Amsoil next time around because I hear good things about it...

Just because it's a synthetic oil doesn't mean that it's a good one......
Quaker State makes synthetic oil.................heh heh

Drop the pan and change the filter. You will be amazed what is in there. Yech. BTW, when you remove the filter a lot of fluid comes out, hopefully into a drain pan and not your face!There are two magnets in there, I cleaned the little metal flakes off of them.
