ok...I changed my knock sensor(which was a nightmare) today...and now I cant even change my corner lamp bulbs!!...I took the the one screw off for the corner bulb lamp...corner housing wont come off!!...what else do I have to take off to get the housing out...DARN!...anyone help me with this stupid housing?..trying to put new bulbs in tonight...thank you!

 

You have to pull on it. It has a ball and socket type joint

 

if you do my KS, I'll replace your corner bulbs 50 times over. Once you unscrew it, you'll be able to pull the corner light out like a cm. If you look in from the top, you'll see it connected to one point. That's the ball and socket that ant's talking about. If you have a long flathead you can stick it through the top inbetween the light housing and the fender and stick the flathead into the joint and just push and twist. If I, a freaked out by KS install noob, can do it, than so can you.

 

on that ball joint and socket put a flathead screwdriver between them and turn and it should loosen up alot.

 

gosh that was a freaking b***h...got it done....thanks for the instructions guys...I had no idea there was a ball joint thingy....I put in those silverstars...they look okay, they are amber....I thought they were gonna be white... oh well ....thanks again guys !
