Chrome Gauge Rings

Can someone guide me on how to install chrome gauge rings? Is it pritty easy to do? If you know of any writeup that already exists please let me know. I've searched through all the stickies but didn't find any instructions there.
Also, what would be a good place to buy them from? Custommaxima has them for $35. Is that reasonable?
Thanks.

I got mine last week from the user "MaxMojo". I think he's about to start round III of this group deal - they were $22 shipped. Look in the group deal section or PM him. As for installation, it's very easy. Just follow the directions listed on this site: http://www.geocities.com/amixam69/ni...ash/index.html

Hope that helps.

Thanks!
It looks a little tricky, but I think its doable. The instructions are for replacing the lights though, which go behind the whole odometer unit. But the rings go right on top of the dials....so would I be able to separate the clear plastic from the unit to be able to get to that area?
I haven't been to the group deal section...will check it out.

You'll have to remove the cluster to get access to the clips that secure the clear plastic cover. It really is easy - you'll only need to follow that guide once. The rest of the times you'll be doing it by memory. Good luck on the group deals, you're going to get hooked

that is messed up. it's so not cool to tell ppl how to mod. maybe he likes the non-rice red/clear look- i think its sexy. no one else has that combo, or few do.

anyway- back on topic- the chrome rings are way easy to install. i did it with no instruction in like 20 mins. its so rewarding when you do something adn you figure it all out for yourself.
