weight reduction

weight reduction

wasnt there a tread with the weight of stuff and ideas of what to take out that isnt really needed. any sujestions will be taken . thank you

what the hell kind of answer is that?! i mean the search on the forum sucks and never works.....so how exactly is someone spose to find a certain post. Wait i know they can look through every page which will take many many hours of there life when someone could have jus given them the answer instead of being an a**hole

I second that, however search does work, you just have to donate... Or you can just google it, 'search terms site:maxima.org' works pretty well

bare bone, that is hard core. anyway, how many lbs is the donut? do you folks remove it? it makes the front heavier.

Does anyone know how much higher the rear would be if i did weight reduction (like rear sets and what not in the trunk)? I have Tein S-techs...

not much at all - if any, you could remove the rear seat and metal plate around 36 lbs if leather, 2 door panels for 6 lbs, 2 floor mats for something like 4-5 lbs., rear deck 4 lbs, both bose rear speakers 6 lbs. spare tire 28 lbs, jack and tools 4-5 lbs.

steering wheel and clutch pedal...at least 10 pounds (if it has an airbag)
seriosly though...remove it all at the 1/4 mile strip. leave it in for pimpin' and everyday driving! chicks wont dig a car w/ out seats. plus if you get a flat your screwed! (i should take my own advice...spare sitting in garage since last testandtune in august)
