Here's the deal:
I just bought Eibach springs and am going to put them in real soon, however I was wondering what you guys think about new shocks. Is it "necessary" to put them in right now, or should i just wait a while. I'm pressed for time as I want to get these shocks on so I can in turn put my rims on. Don't ask why, I just figured I'd do it that way so I wouldn't have to take my rims off a couple days later when I put on my schocks. If you think I should put on new springs, please tell me why, where I can get them and how fast I can get them. Thanks a lot.

If I were you I'd get new springs and shocks installed at the same time, saves you time and money on installation.
Your stock shocks won't last long with lowering springs.
Go to www.shox.com for good deals on suspension components.

get new shocks

get shocks, you will be very dissappointed if you dont. your stock ones wont last long, assuming they still have any life left in them anyhow.

Re: get the set

Yes- Andy is right... you want to make sure the new suspension(shocks/springs) is in place the same time 1st time around so you don't have to waste your time again with it later. Keep the stock struts/springs if you should ever want to go back to stock in the future. Like the other guys said, don't mix stock strut/lowered springs... unless you want to deal with problems later. I got mine from shox.com, pretty decent prices.

Good luck- Ange

There isn't much to know. Andy hit it right on the head. If you do not pay for labor, then I would recommend it if you wanted to get every penny of life outta the stock struts. But they will eventually wear out or blow. Then you will need to replace them. There are only 3 struts available. KYB and Tokiko are slighly better than OEM struts. Koni insets require modification of the OEM strut.

Andy's got it...I've heard from many people that if you're going to change your springs, change your shocks too! Otherwise your stock shocks are not going to last very long...you'll just kill them.

Good luck!
