Has anyone replaced this? Mine is torn and the FSM is pretty vauge. I would just buy another, but mine are painted and I dont want to do all that again. Any help is much appreciated.

Get a rebuild kit. It will include all the seals you need.

 

Yes, I have the rebuild kit. I just need to know how to get the old boot out and put in a new one. Strike that. I am sure I can get the old one out, but how do you install the new one?

His front brake job does not show how to do this. He only shows how to recondition the Sliding Pins and their boots. I am talking about the Caliper Piston Boot. Hopefully some one can help me on this before something gets in there and seizes my caliper.

Thanks! I looked the the Nissan FSM but didnt see anything this detailed. Basically all that was given was use compressed air to remove the piston. I do have 2 more questions though. Any idea what size driving tool I need? What do you use to lubricate the piston bore with? Same grease as used in the siding pin on the torque member?

 

Scratch the seal driver question. It looks like the kits are pretty inexpensive. I will just buy the whole kit. But I still need help on what to lubricate the piston bore with.
