pics of gen 4 with 300zx wheels please..

does anyone have any?

a guy from my town totalled his max and it had 300z wheels on it... i don't remember what it looks like. but he's selling them for 250 wheels and tires both..

just curious as to what it would look like before i picked them up.

they are either 16's or 17's... i can't remember

That car has a lift kit so it might not look like that when you put them on your car.

i think those 300zx rims would look really good if they was painted black!!! and the max was dropped.

Screamin deal if they're in good shape, I need exactly that for next winter but I will probably go w/G35 wheels if I can get them for a good deal!

Damn u Luke for posting up my 4x4 pic! LOL Yea they're pretty dull because the clearcoat is pretty much gone. But that'll get taken care of by summer. The 4x4 will get taken care of, hopefully within 2 weeks :-D.

Ceasar yes, they are suposed to channel the air into the rotors to cool them, which is great on highway braking :-)

s0ber, go change ur none-existing control arm bushing

no my wife thinks there ugly on the Max also..... but they were in the garage collecting dust.... I needed somthing to clear Z32 brakes... and they are wider and lighter than the stock SE wheels....

and the Z wheels on the Max pictured above are TT wheels.. 16x7.5 f and 16x8.5 r slight diff dish...4 rear TT wheels would be my perfered setup

If you do that, it's gonna stick out in the front, and the reat wheels are gonna look even more set in than normal... Most guys that have staggered sized put the wider ones on the rear....

put the larger ones on the back even it being fwd?

i don't doubt you.. i just figured you'd put them on the front..

i may just buy the rear ones and then find two more rear wheels..

You could just run the same 225/50 tires on all 4 wheels and not fret about the size stagger because it really doesnt matter...

Well, if you want 8.5 wide tires on an NA max in the front... ok... and like I said, it's gonna sit in alot in the rear... but honestly... I would just buy these, cus thats a real good deal.. put the bigger ones on the rear, and when its time to replace the tires, just but the same size on both...

so it would be my best bet to just get em and put the larger ones on the back?

and then try to find two more front tires so they would all be the same size?

Well, theres no point in replacing the tires if they don't need replacing... just put the larger ones on the rear, and the smaller ones on the front.. then drive on them untill you need to replace the tires, and either replace them with the same size that is on them, or get the same size for all four.. the only advantage you get from having larger tires in the rear is that it looks SICK from the back.... and I guess a little handling, but the rear suspension sucks on the maxima either way.. so whatever.. haha

they dont look that bad at all besides looking like a set of wheels that might come with the car from the factory. I would probaly buy them if someone offerd them to me at that price.

Actually it doesn't... its designed to pull air away from the rotors... it pulls in from under the car and pushes out through the wheels...

I used to own a Z32... and I've seen the brochures from Nissan that describe the effect in drawings...
