Help! Failed CT Emmissions NOx level bad??

Went to emmission in ct and failed due to NOx levels in exhuast i assume being bad. The guy told me to check my EGR system. I was at one point getting a code for the 3-way canister. is it hard to replace? should i change most the parts of the EGR system since im there going to take it apart? also how much do these parts cost, canister, and what ever else in tha egr system? replacement easy? any advice is great, i have about 15 days left to retest if not i dunno what happens cant drive car on street til fixed or whatever.

and if this helps, i changed all 3 my 02 sensors and brand new CAT. did it right before emmissions.. ECU light came up for all 3 02 sensors. if this info helpful on finding out my problem. any replies would help. thansk orger's.

Had the car been properly warmed up? The shop that I worked at did emissions and you'd be suprised at how much of a difference a good 10-15min ride would make.

the car was properly warmed up, but then again by the time they got to it, it was about 30 minutes in that time was still cold as **** outside and definetly dropped the temperature a bit. but im sometimes get that egr CEL. i dunno its on an doff. i've been trying to scanned all day yesterdaya nd i never get it. im still getting 2 02 sensor readings....... but i think i might have found a vaccum hose mixed up when i did my motor swap.

but when i changed the vaccum line differently, i stil in the end had tio plug up 1 vaccum line. so it didn't matter something still ends up not being right. does anyone know what happens when i go for a retest and fail?

thanks
