Another Stalling Case

Hello all. I’m having stalling problems on my Auto 95 Maxima. This problem seems to occur around the point when the engine reaches normal operating temperature. I’ve tried cleaning the Throttle Body as well as cleaning the fuel system, cleaned injectors and put on a new Fuel Filter.
Usually when it stalls, the car shudders for a second or two before turning off. The stalling happens when I am at a stop or coasting at low speeds. At higher speeds, the engine jerks a couple of times, as if it can’t tell whether or not to downshift and catches itself in the middle of the shift. During this time, the RPMs dip down to about 100 then revs to around 1500 to 2000. Eventually this settles down unless I am going around 35-45 and am breaking and accelerating often. If the RPMs dip and rise while I break and accelerate a lot, as in traffic, the car will stall as soon as the RPMs get under the 1000 range. Sometimes, the car has a hard time starting after a stall, takes multiple cranks and the smell of gas comes about, sometimes cloud of burned gas comes out of exhaust. This doesn’t happen all the time, twice or so every week. No check engine light comes on and no codes appear on OBDII reader.

Symptoms (Short) all during or around Normal Operating Temps.:
Stalls when the car comes to a stop or coasting with low RPMs.
RPMs dip to 100 and rise to 1500 to 2000 multiple times
Car jerks when coasting at higher speeds.
Car has hard time starting sometimes after a stall as well as after a normal run.
When car is cold and coasting downhill, RPM dip and rise between 1500 and 2000

Mechanic has suggested possible TPS malfunction. Tried tapping on MAF to recreate the error.

Any help would be great, thanks in advance.

Check the engine coolant temperature sensor.
Check the TPS, make sure it's adjusted correctly.

Get a Haynes shop manual to help you.

Check Engine Light finally came on. Pulled the Coolant Temperature Sensor Code from the reader.

is .4 the correct adjustment for the TPS?
