Exhaust success....Awesome flow....
#1
Just went to straight 2.5" pipe sans resonator from the cat
all the way back to a Flowtech Terminator 2.5" (has 3" chambers) muffler. Guys looking for max flow, this is great! I've noticed guys with Apex'i and Stillen exhausts saying that they don't feel much after they put it on. But with my setup, I've noticed considerable more pull-not kidding. I was surprised myself, just as when I did the intake, and yes, my car is faster. Granted it's not stainless steel, and doesn't have a huge 5" tip, it's all function over form. I decided to go with a low-key look (although the 5" tip would have been awesome too!)...keeps the cops looking the other way. Oh- and the sound? It's got great tone, not that loud...deep, deep tone, but in the upper range, the intake takes over, emitting that Indy-car sound. Thanks for the tip Dru... If you guys are looking for some flow, and not a lot of Honda wheeze, try out a domestic setup. It's all in the science, not always in the $$$
