i have a problem. when accelerating through 1st and 2nd i have no problems getting to 60mph, but when im in 3rd gear and i reach 60 the car hesitates before it starts to move. even if i push the throttle open more it still wont move. i do not know why it does this, and its an auto. can anyone try to diagnose this problem. can it be my coil packs?????

 

I dont think its your coil packs. If your car is accelerating normal in the first 2 gears I can't see it being a coil pack problem. I would check your plugs out though and make sure.

 

hhm is your tranny slipping? that sounds like the only thing that could be holding your car back. is the od off? and does the car redline?
