Most shops now recoment changing oil ever 5 to 7 K. I try to do it at 5 and then when I go over I do not feel bad.

Quality of oil has increase since 95. I beleve all new cars recoment 7K oil changes. Cars that have computers that moniter the oil often go 10 to 12K. I should have said auto experts. Most shops still recoment 3K because they want your business twice as often.

Update... I used the bottle of Lucas on a full tank and now its 1/4 full. I definitely noticed a difference. The idle is much smoother and the car pulls better. The acceleration is also smoother. I would recommend this product as a fuel injection cleaner i'm pleased with the results.
