gotta get this fixed quick....please Help

I started a thread a while ago but since i cant find it and it is somethin relativly important i have started it again. My last thread was about how whenever i pump my gas instead of clicking when it was full it clicks every three secs. most of the responses included that it was the pump. But i have been to 6 different gas stations and all act the same. Now i am going to get into more detail. Besides the fact that it clicks every three seconds making pumping gas last 20 minutes, there is also a lot of pressure build up and gas even spills out causing a big mess on the floor and getting all over my car. Also the gas owners get pretty pissed. Also i have my CEL on wit the vent control valve. I do not know if they are related because i read a lot of posts of ppl complaining about the VCV but none ever stating the problem with the pumping of gas. I have looked under the car but see nothin out of the ordinary. So im asking can some1 please help me out i really need to get this fixed. Thank you.

It clicks off when fuel reaches the sides of the pump nozzle. Usually fuel displaces air and this does not happen. When the air is not displaced the fuel does not go down easily.

I suggest you go to a pump that does not have those rubber covers that they do in New York. Like a cheap station with cheap pumps. This way air can come up as fuel goes down.

Also if you have a CEL and it tells you what to replace, why not just replace it?

It has you be your inability to pump gas. This is very ridiculous

It's not the car, it's not the pump, it's YOU.

I would get the vent control valve thing resolved - it may be causing the problem.
