Problems with warpspeed superflo!

my car is an 97 gle auto
i put my superflo y pipe on yesterday and must say it was the biggest pain in the *** and my arms hurt, i had 2 stripped nuts on one of the pipes going up to the headers and the bolts on the cat-yeah right- you mean those piles of rust i had to cut off with a cutting wheel- well anyways after all that work i found that i had a huge leak at the flex joint, so today i readjusted the pipes and tightened all the bolts again, didnt work, and for some reason it leaks when in drive but when i get in reverse its really really bad-the gap opens at the top of the flex joint. now also when i am in drive it rattles, i am beginning to think that the whole thing is shot, so i called dallas at warpspeed and he told me a couple things to try and they didnt work.

when i look at the flex joint it really doesnt make sense the front pipe is normal and the rear pipe is flared out and their is a donut shaped gasket in between, well the gasket fits nicely on the rear piece but doesnt even feel tight on the front piece. there are no other gaskets on that piece and i dont see how it couldnt leak, and the rattle when i accelerate in drive is horrific.

my question is does anyone who may have put this same pipe on looked at it to verify that mine was assembled properly, like im not missing any pieces in the flexjoint, or has anyone had any problems with their superflo ypipe.

any info is appreciated

thanks

One guy I believe had some kind of gaskets shipped. After hearing this and everything else since they came out, I don't get why people don't just go budget...seems almost garenteed to get a quality product.

Seriously the budget Y-pipe is SS and has less problems than the warpspeeds, and this new superflo design SUCKS i even told a friend of mine when he got it and i looked at it, it just looks crappy, and he had too many problems and sent it back, he should have listened to me
