quick question

I replaced my brake pads today. I pushed the piston in all the way with a c-clamp. I don't have to bleed the brake lines right? Just wanna double check.

Nah...you only have to bleed the brakes when you open the system. If you didn't disconnect any of the lines/hoses and you didn't run your master cylinder dry, you don't have to bleed them.

Just to make sure. When you push in those pistons with the C-clamp a lot of fluid gets pushed back up into the brake fluid reservoir. Just make sure it's not overflowing now.
I also just changed my brakes and I also noticed the brake pedal was kinda loose (like it doesn't grab as fast). This happened when I let Brake check change the pads on my last car (last time i made that mistake). I am not sure why this happens. Just make sure you properly bed in the new pads (take it up to 60 then slam on the brakes and slow down to like 10 but don't stop. Do this 5 or 6 times, then drive around to let them cool off)

When was the last time your brake fluid was bled and replaced? It doesn't hurt to periodically do that as brake fluid retains moisture and moisture can lead to corrosion/sticking of the brake calipers, which in turn can wear out your brake pads and lead to premature wearing of the rotors.

More than likely your pads just arnt seated to the discs yet. Same thing happened to me, works fine 300 miles later.
