how do you remove the defrost vents in the dash?
#4
pull.... pull hard....
i usually grab by the bottom part of the vent nearest to the other electronics... (with my thumbs) and i grab the upper part just below the actual vent itself... (like a 1 inch'ish area...)
and i pullupp towards me... when it starts moving i'll pull downwards slightly and keep doing this. clips are the ONLY thing holding this thing in place... you WILL need to use force... my clips are a tad loose and i still find it hard to remove it.
I do not believe you should have any fear of busting the vents... Also... do not worry once you pull them out you'll have enough wire play for the warning button and defrost button.
