white paint on my black max

white paint on my black max

looks like some one lightly backed into my black max but they left some of their nasty white paint on my car and i cant get it off. is there like a touch up paint that wont come off.

try using an eraser from a pencil, worked for me

I used some nail-polish remover on my neighbour's car to remove white paint. It was from a picket fence and came off like you wouldn't believe. Not sure if it works on car paint that has been scraped on, but it didn't hurt the finish of the car at all.

im in the same situation, i got paint scraped on my car too from parking and one time from being too close to my fence, its covered up with some touch up paint right now, but i would like to get rid of it too

get mineral spirits from home depot and rub it into the paint... it's a paint thinner which is safe for car paint.

then, clay bar it.

The first step I would take is to buy a $2 container of "turtlewax polishing compound and scratch remover".

It's cheap, and unless it has been scratched entirely through the clear-coat, it should buff right out with a little bit of arm muscle.
